Alex is an Associate at Matrix Partners China, and he is responsible for the deal sourcing, evaluation and execution in Internet, wireless, and greentech sectors. Prior to joining Matrix, Alex worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Originally, he was responsible for the industry research work in TMT sectors, and he conducted the whole primary research, issue analysis and documentary work of a McKinsey China Internet whitepaper. Alex then transferred his career track to consultant, where he participated in projects on software, Internet/wireless, digital media and electrical power.

Alex was born in China and holds a bachelors in Computer Science from Nanjing University.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys travelling, classical literature from all over the world, and badminton.
