Founding Managing Partner

Bo Shao is a Founding Managing Partner of Matrix Partners China, having played a key role in its establishment. Prior to the formation of Matrix Partners China, Bo was a general partner for Matrix Partners starting in 2006. Bo was previously the founder of and CEO of EachNet, a dominant consumer e-commerce company in China which was sold to eBay in 2003 for $225 MM. He is also co-founder and chairman of Novamed Pharmaceuticals and the co-founder of BabyTree and plays an active role in the management and strategy for both companies.

Bo also has experience in consulting and financial industries, having worked at Boston Consulting Group and Goldman Sachs. He graduated summa cum laude in Physics and Electrical Engineering with a BA from Harvard University. Bo also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
